1. 5 years ago: I was 17 years old and was a senior in college. I was spending all my time working at Memories, the local scrapbook store, and on our high school yearbook. Around this time I got my acceptance letter to BYU and was enjoying having a very easy senior year. I also spent a lot of time hanging out with my mom because we were the only girls left at home.
2. Snacks I enjoy: Anything with chocolate or sugar usually. But lately I go in salt and sugar phases depending on what the baby demands. I always love no bakes, nutter butters, and toffee bars though.
3. 5 things on my to do list today:
- Update Blog
- Find a Sub job for tomorrow
- Email some friends
- Start another paper for Kevin
- Write some cards
4. Things I would do if I became a billionaire:
- Pay off all of Kevin's professors to let him pass his classes
- Buy a house in Upper Arlington, Ohio
- Stay home and scrapbook, quilt, and be with my baby
- Get a shiny new car with heated seats and a sunroof
- Get all new furniture
- Pay an interior decorator to make my furniture look good in my UA home
- Visit Europe especially Italy, Greece, Germany, France, and all the little countries as well
5. 3 of my bad habits:
- I am a tiny bit OCD- but Kevin would agrude that I am a very OCD. I just think that everything has a place and don't understand why it is so hard for Kevin to put it there in the first place!
- Backseat Driver- this I inherited from my mother though (sorry mom!). I like to tell Kevin how to get places and remind him to drive defensively in the snow.
- Some minor hygiene issues- I hate taking pills and I bite my nails.
6. 5 places I have lived (most recent to not so recent):
- Reno, Nevada
- Provo, Utah
- Upper Arlington, Ohio
- Columbus, Ohio
- World History Teacher at Spanish Springs High School
- Substitute Teacher
- Florist and Scrapbook "Specialist" at Campus Craft and Floral
- Scrapbook "Specialist" at Memories
- Babysitter and Animal sitter
8. things people may or may not know about me:
- I love being in Ohio with Kevin and my family more than chocolate. If I could, then I would probably move into the basement which scares Kevin. I love the fact that Kevin can lay on my parent's bed with my little brothers watching tv and be perfectly content while I talk with my mom. I love not having to worry about all those annoying wifey details like cooking and cleaning. I guess I love being a kid again!
- I am very excited to be a mommy but also scared out of my mind. I know deep down that I can do it and it will be okay but I really do not want to go through labor and then give up my sleep. I have a feeling though that as soon as I see that little girl that everything will be amazing and I will not care too much about losing my sleep. Oh and Kevin is going to be the most amazing daddy ever which will help me out a ton!
- I want Kevin to finish school more than anything! I want to stay home during the day and kiss him as he leaves for work on the cold, snowy winter mornings.
- I am not friendly. Kevin and I decided this a while ago. I am extremely bad at putting myself out there with girls and making friends. I was so lucky in college to have amazing roommates that became my best friends and then I didn't make any more. I really need a wing woman to help me be friendly and put myself out there or else I will just slip into the back of Relief Society and then slip out again.
- Kevin and I spend a lot of our time laying around in bed. The combination of a heated blanket and having a computer with TV at the foot of our bed is a deadly combination. I am surprised neither of us have bed sores yet.
- My Birthday is coming up on March 5th!
