Yesterday the Washoe County School District and UNR had SNOW DAYS! By the end of the morning we had like 10 inches and the roads were a complete distaster. It was thw worst storm Reno had had since 2005 so we decided to take full advantage of it. We cleaned the house, drank hot chocolate, took a long nap, and went outside to play in it.
Finally SNOW! This was her first time playing in it and we were very unprepared. We need to get snow boots, gloves, a better hat and a sled right away!
Towards the end she got brave enough to sit down in it and even started leaning like she would lay down but never made it.
While Maddy and I played, Kevin helped 4 cars get unstuck and single handedly snow shoveled the intersection by our house. So many cars were getting stuck and so he took matters into his own hands. He made a nice path for cars to follow and I think he is amazing!

Great pictures. Thanks for being so timely on updating your blog - I love so see the pictures and can't wait until you're here in person!

Good to see the shovel we left you is getting some use, because it definitely would have been used otherwise! (JOE)
It looks like Maddie had a great time! So fun! That's awesome that Kevin helped people get unstuck.
Way to shovel a whole intersection kev-o
I love that little girl! I love the pink snow suit! Too cute! And what a nice hubby you have digging out the snow!
She looks really happy. Kevin is amazing.
Jenny, I can't believe she's big enough to stand, wow time flies. How cute of Kevin to shovel all that. So I was reading my journal the other day and it talked about how much I love you and how much I enjoyed working with you!
I'm seriously shocked because even Utah hasn't gotten that much and I think I had 1 snow day in all my years of school there, and I'm pretty sure it was in elementary school. Kevin would remember better. Looks like you had a fun time!
I'm glad Maddy enjoys playing in the snow. Caleb was not a big fan. We had 18 at our house and Caleb had too much trouble walking and got frustrated.
