Maddy and I had a fabulous time in Georgia playing with the family and getting to meet baby Hal. Maddy might have loved baby Hal a little bit too much but with therapy I think he will recover someday. She loved to squeeze him around the neck, splash him in the pool, and jump on him while he was sleeping. She would also run around the house screaming for grandpa, throw things down from the second story, run around in the sand traps of the golf course and generally just be a 2 year old.
I had a hard time adjusting to the new house and location but by the end of the trip I could find my way around and was more comfortable with my parents living in Georgia.
