We got up at 4:30 to go to Dawn Patrol at the Reno Balloon Races. I have wanted to go since we moved here but never could get myself out of bed that early. This was our last chance so even though Maddy was not feeling well we went anyways.
When we got home Maddy had a super yucky nose and a fever so I guess we win the award for parents of the year. She did love to point at the balloons and say "balloon" though!
We sold our Jeep this last week. It needed to be done but I still feel like a member of our family is missing. It has been with us longer than Maddy.
This week is a big motorcycle rally thing in Reno so they are everywhere! Maddy keeps pointing at them and saying "Daddy." Then I have to explain that the big hairy man on the back of a Harley is not in fact her dad.
