We needed a vacation and so we decided to leave town and do to San Francisco. Maddy loves animals and was really excited to see the lions. We had to skip all the stuff at the beginning and go straight there. Good thing they were outside!
She is her mother's child and wanted to be in charge of the map. She was constantly asking for it and looking at it. And when she wasn't looking at it then she was just pointing and demanding that we go a certain way.
We rode the train and it was a highlight of the day. She loves trains!
After the zoo I wanted to find the Seward Street Slides so we did. They were fun and fast but I think would be better with older kids.
Our next stop was the Aquarium at Pier 39. Maddy especially wanted to see the sharks.
Then we had to ride the horsey. Another highlight!
We stopped at the Vacaville outlets on the way home and they had a play area. So once again she was a lion.
It was fun to get away even if it was just for the weekend. Our lives are so up in the air right now that it was nice to forget all the stress and just have fun with the family.
