Her big exciting present was a new bike! She has been asking for one forever and we told her she had to wait until she turned five. Every time I would leave to go to the store she would ask "Are you going to buy my bike?" In reality Kevin went to the store the night before her birthday at 8 and bought it.
She also got a helmet and she is getting quite good at riding around our cul-de-sac and the trails behind our house. She needs a little more leg strength to get up the hills but we have a goal to be training wheel free by the end of summer.
Oh how I missed buying new books while we lived in Germany!
She also got the My Little Pony wedding castle set
Grandma Pam and Grandpa Scott got her a scooter with only two wheels! (They got her other things too but I neglected to take pictures- sorry!) She feels so grown up now.
That night Grandma Linna and Grandpa Dale came for her special birthday dinner of Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Caesar Salad and then cookies and ice cream for dessert.
