She Is On Strike

This week so far has been awful! Our poor baby girl is on strike and is refusing to take a bottle. Our poor babysitter does not know what to do and neither do we. We have bought every single kind of bottle and nipple imaginable and tried all kinds of positions, but still she will not budge. I called the pediatrician today because it cannot be good for her to go two 8 hour days with no food. The nurse said that she is just being stubborn because she is angry that I am not there to feed her (that makes two of us). I have been researching her problem online and so tomorrow we are going to try the dropper and the cup methods. Hopefully she can eat enough to keep her pretty happy until I can get home and feed her.

She might be on stike but at least she looks cute doing it!

Chocolate milkshakes should solve the problem!

She is gorgeous!

She'll get hungry enough soon to give in, they usually do. You (and the babysitter) just have to hang in there. Sorry you're going through this but others I know have been there too. She sure is cute though!

She won't starve, she'll give in. I know it's not easy, but she will finally give up and eat. My friend went through the same thing and it didn't take long to figure out this is what I get for lunch. May not be mom, but it will have to do.

Madison did the same thing!! Then finally we found a bottle that worked, well either that or she finally gave in!! with Emma we decided to introduce the bottle earlier so we didn't have the problem and of coarse she did great. Just goes to show how different each kid is!! GOod Luck!!

ohhh...jenny I'm feeling so sad for you!!! I know how hard the dang feeding thing can be. Doesn't Maddy know how much harder she's making this on you? Sometimes I just wish you could make them understand and then they would feel bad for putting you through that. Hang in there. It will work out.
