So we decided that the theme of her first birthday party would be the color red. That decision was based on this dress. We think it is utterly adorable!
Her ladybug cake. I made it myself with help from Kevin and I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
All the red food. It was delicious. I especially enjoyed the strawberry-raspberry-white chocolate trifle. Kevin even let me buy a trifle dish for the occasion.

Maddy got some amazing presents and they have been keeping her occupied for the past week. She has been a very sweet one year old so far. Thanks to everyone who came and made her birthday special!

ah! she is a year!! crazy!! Looks like she had a sweet birthday. give her a happy birthday hug for me! by the way- the canvas in the babys room I did do. I printed out the font from the computer, cut it out, taped it to the canvas, then painted the outside, took the letter off and painted the inside. it took quite a few coats to make it look decent...it was my general conference project :) pretty cake by the way

I was hoping when I logged on there would be birthday pictures thanks for not disappointing. She is an adorable one year old.
