We want to start our Disney movie collection. But we need help on picking ones that will keep Maddy's attention and not drive us insane. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
My kids have loved almost all of the disney movies.....sorry to say they're great to start with but after your child gets hooked on one and it gets watched about a bazillion times they tend to drive you a little nutzo. But, that being said, all of my kids (at that age) have loved any Winnie the Pooh but particularly the original. There used to be the Disney Sing-A-Long-Songs that were just music from different shows and they lasted about 30 min. They all loved those but I'm not sure if they sell them anymore.
I think Maddy would love like The little mermaid and bugs life, or maybe monsters inc. I would maybe try things with a lot of music in them and see if that would keep her attention!
The photographer who took Caleb's pictures was WAY GOOD! She is really sweet and she will go any where you want to do pictures. For our family pictures we are going to Bartley Ranch. She travels all the way in from Dayton! She gives you the whole cd so you can get what ever you want! She is really nice! Let me know if you want her phone number! She was fantastic!
I think that Mulan is a good choice. My little sister was obsessed with that movie, and watched it ALL the time. The great thing is that I still enjoy the movie. She didn't ruin it at all.
You really should have Lynda (the photographer that did Caleb's pictures) do Maddy's pictures. She did Jack's pictures back in April when he was 3 weeks old. Some of them are up on our Facebook. I think that you would really like her.
We own just about every Disney or animated movie knows to man. Our favorites that Cohen loves are Cars, Madagascar 1 & 2, Meet the Robinsons, Nemo (except I can't watch this one to many times in a row), Ice Age 1&2, Fox and the Hound 2, Tarzan, Lion King most of the others drive us crazy after 2 of 3 times of watching them. Good luck!
