Utah

We went to Utah two weekends a go to visit friends and get my brother Kyle settled in at BYU for the summer. It was a LONG drive across the desert of Nevada with a squirmy baby who had never been in her car seat for over an hour. But we survived and she was mostly behaved.

We visisted Kevin's friend Tim and our babies were dressed alike. If only they would cooperate for a picture!

We went to Tucanos (a Brazilian steakhouse) for dinner on Friday with all my old roommates and Maddy enjoyed playing rather than eating. We were eating outside so luckily there was alot of room for her to run around. At one point in the evening I went inside to get more food and Kyle and Kevin decided it would be funny to hide Maddy. They moved her high chair around the corner. Then the manager came outside and saw a baby sitting all by herself and started freaking out. This made everybody turn in the direction of Maddy and as they did so the sprinklers turned on. My poor baby got wet and started crying. But by the time I got out there everything was back to normal except for everyone laughing.
